what bar ends fit the storm

Post by agentpineapple »

i need to get hold of a pair of bar ends for my bike, i don't really like the pro bolt type, and i don't want to spend £25 on r&g ones, so does anyone know if other honda bar ends are a straight fit....cbr 600, fireblade maybe.....

I think the VFR bar ends are the same as they share the same type of fitment. You just need to make sure they have that bits on the inside of the weight that lock into the clip to stop them spinning when tightening up the bolt.

Not made for the the Storm. I'm not sure if they will fit. They look like the type that as you tighten the bolt the rubber bit expands which holds it in place.

Here the inside of a standard weight.

Those should fit Marty, but you will need to remove the internal bar weight first (see link on that below). The only down side I can see from doing that is you may experience more vibration through the handlebars.

Having another look at those you list, it seems rather odd to me that that say the internal bar diameter should be 13mm. Personally I think your bars may be bigger. So those probably won't be any good, but don't take my word for it measure yours first.

These seem more like it being available for an internal diameter of 18mm (still check your bars first) but 18mm sounds more like it to me:-
