Moriwaki titanium zero pipes

Post by silo »

I have got a set of these Moriwaki titanium zero pipes - Anybody know if they are any better than the fuel exausts I have presently got fitted, or should just I sell them?
Anybody any ideas on the best fuelling for unrestricted pipes, and what difference it makes to mid & upper range?

A mate of mine had some Moriwakis, they looked crap, made the bike run rough, sexually compromised his pet cat, then drank all the beer in his fridge.

As such I will offer you £50 for them. :biggrin :biggrin

Terrible can't give em away as they cut the horsepower by half - YETI will have em as scrap as he bends & twists em by hand like balloon sculptures into cute dog shapes for disadvantaged Nepalese children.

And there was me thinking it was her indoors son who had nicked all me beer - must have been those bloomin exausts. Also wondered why next doors cat was walking like john Wayne - now I know.
As such I will flog them off on Fleabay asap before they cause any further social unrest.
Glad to see althose taking degrees in sarcasm are practising hard on the forum. Nice one!!

Back to your original question. I would say if you are prepared to pay for some dyno runs to get the jetting etc set up properly for the carbs, then most likely the Moriwaki cans will give a slightly better performance, but you will need a freer flowing air filter to gain maximum results. Iirc the Fuel cans are designed to run on the bike without altering the jetting or air filter if you wish, but would most likely perform better with.

For anyone interested they are like the ones in the photos above. Some knob had fitted some 'orrible fleabay punched baffles, and these we immediately filed under B for Bin.(who the 'ell were they trying to kid?? still noisy with the baffles, just made a naff noise!) A small BS plate has been riveted to the inside of one of the pipes (again, who were they trying to kid?), which i have not touched. Otherwise they are in excellent nick
