Seat unit & rear light

Post by Golgother »

Hey all.

Just checking over my 98 Storm and noticed the seat unit is fixed to the subframe with no rubber fiddly things, spacers, so not as Honda intended, causing stress fractures.

Can anybody tell me what rubber bits, spacers, sleeves etc. are required for correct fitment.

The rear light wobbles badly, upon inspection there appers to some kind of third fixing at the bottom of the light, however is looks damaged and not attached to anything.

How should the rear light be mounted ?

Cheers
Matt

I had to make a bracket as when my mate was following me he said the rear light wobbled so much that it looked like the lights were flickering
I thought it was because i had an undertray fitted and one of the original mounts was compromised.

oh and i did have to cut/chisle some of the seat plastic away for the bracket to fit :!:
gona spray black to match the sub frame and fit some of that hard rubber foam to the end to suppot the light a little more.
