Scouse645 bike....

Post by Ckennedy »

This is scouse's bike. Met him yesterday to do his CCT's, which turned out to be a fun job but we won't go there

This pics are not great but you all get the idea of what it looks like:

Rare colour, very nice. You can't mention cct's like that and not tell us. :biggrin

Oh and well done for helping out a fellow stormer and saving another one from the dreaded failure.

!80  this is one of the reasons I recommend removing the front cam cover.

Carl, this wasn't a 180 error. Chris forgot to rotate the crank after doing the rear CCT and took the front one out when it wasn't at tdc so the chain jumped on the cams.. Hence he had to take the cams out and then get the engine back to tdc then refit.

Oops, good on him for sorting it out though. I just got back from riding mine and it's like a different bike. I thought it was powerful before, but I had never ridden another Storm to compare aginst. It just wants to pop the front wheel up now. On the downside it really shows how bad my front suspension is.

I wouldn't call screwed up, I would call it an honest mistake that one can learn from. You wont do it again

Hows your forks doing. Is it a real tranformation.

I wan't that bike!!! Reminds me of the superbikes from the early 90's. FZR 1000, GSX750R, Ninja etc. Good times :)

The forks feel great. Just got to get used to them. Got to get used to linear rather than progressive.
