one on my bike is a bit chav tastic

is this a good idea ?

will the petrol ruin my GSXR tank? i have some white spirit and a bottle of vodka kicking about will either of them be okay?


thinking using something like the foam HRC one honda used to do not sure if they still do?

or somthing like this rubber looking thing

look for a product called autosmart tardis :thumbup:

Use it after you have removed tank protector via the air dryer

nice one mate just reminded me of that Autoglym intensive tar remover i have :) that should do it i used it on the reflective tape i took off the bike the other year :thumbup:

I took some stickers off mine after I got it. They were the same sort of gel things as this.

If you get them hotter, the glue comes off with the stickers rather than leaving a sticky mess. It doesn't damage the paint.

It will still leave a little outline, but I cleaned mine off with just normal Autoglym bike cleaner spray and a cloth, it was quite easy.

I would probably be careful with white spirit as it is a paint thinner and might damage the paint.
