Hi folks!

Post by GreenEyedGecko »

Hi folks. So I got a firestorm three months ago. It's a great machine - 15 years old and only 17K on the clock. I think it has been well looked after. Looking forward to a good summer and plenty of miles!

Thanks for the very warm welcome, people. Bacon sarnie sounds good!! Dont think I will make it this weekend though, I am trying to strip it down to get the valve clearances done. The front valve cover is very hard to get at. (I wonder if it will ever go back together again.... :? ) So, will you lot be going on other runs out through the summer?

hi and welcome to the loony bin....first drop the oil cooler forward then use a quarter drive socket set to get into the rear bolts...it is tight but you can get to them then use your fingers to slide them out.
