What do you use, why and where from?

I've always used that castrol power 1 stuff but would like suggestions for the storms first minor service I'm doing

I use genuine parts and castrol oil, but I get them at a good price because I'm in the trade :biggrin

as far as I know, most 10w 40 semi sync 4t(stroke) oil will be ok, same as the oil filters, air filters oem or pattern part, the foam filters are much the same....

I changed my oil & filter today, went for power1 semi-synth 10w-40 and genuine Honda filter. All seems good, gear changes feel much smoother, not sure what oil it had in before hand though.

Once a year at the start of the season, I don't do enough miles to do it more than that but I do keep an eye on it through the sight glass and if it starts to discolour I'll change it.

Think I'm just gonna go for some half decent branded semi synthetic, as I'm sure all the decent ones probably come out the same factory lol
