Colour schemes... again!

Post by Jamoi »

Hi all, just curious to see a Storm with silver bodywork and black everything else, anyone seen one?

If I get a couple of photos together, would a photoshop wizard be able to mock it up for me? I'll buy you a coffee! :)

I think it would look a bit more modern and less like this...

What? Can't you make out the similarities?? :D

Doesn't your Storm look like a dated TV set? Oh no, it looks like a dated TV set that's been salvaged from a fire! :D :D

Did you notice it was an early 90's re-run? :)

Great work Wicky, thanks for that, thinking inside the (TV)box. Is there any chance this photo could be adjusted for black frame, swing arm & forks? I think the silver with the black components (rearsets, hangers, as much stuff I can make black!) and numberboards will look ok, I think it will be worth the impending effort involved. ... I hope :)

Essentially, yes. At least until you get that pink frame.

Yes yes dear, we're very proud of you

Seriously though, I think it would look nice with a lot of black on it. That's the advantage of black, it goes with anything ;D

Nice one Wicky, but I think I prefer the standard look on a silver storm imo

Looks good with a back frame in other colours though

Oh no point in me doing it now. I grabbed the exact same pic as wicky's this morning and made a start on it before going out. I was going to stick a Carbon can on and paint the rearsets.

I think silver with black frame looks ok to me, not the most exciting of colour scheme, but imho all storms will look more modern with a satin black frame....
