Here we go again......

After I finished the Legends SP I found I had a few bits left over........well, quite a lot of bits really
So, as it doesn`t seem right not to have a bike on the ramp, here is the jigsaw that will eventually become an SP1 track bike.......

Looks like you have nearly a whole bike already. Just need a few extras. Any special plans for the track bike or just standard?

I`ve just been down the workshop tonight to lay it all out.
There are some other bits and pieces not shown in the picture, including a 12000 mile engine, power commander and a choice of exhausts .
When I saw what I had left, I starting collecting a few extra bits and pieces. Looking at it tonight, with the exception of a couple of brackets and a few nuts and bolts, I have everything I need to start putting it together (time and family permitting )
Forks apparently have Ohlins internals already, am hoping to fit the SP2 throttle bodies that I have for a bit more oomph but apart from that it will go together with mostly standard parts for now. I`m sure ebay will throw up some temptation along the way though........

I live pictures like this. I find myself zooming in looking at the parts rather than looking at the main subject in the shot.

Looks like its that time of year when we all start thinking about the winter projects .
I do fancy a sp1 build , I remember reading spal's on the honda forum

Clearly a man who loves a challenge, mostly "where's the lightswitch".

Just putting the "Cave" into man cave.........

We are quite advanced in this part of the world with running water (does a stream count?) AND electrickery and the bay is quite bright once the switch has been located and thrown .......and its a lot easier than trying to lug the V twin lump up and down stairs.
