Thank you and goodbye.

Post by ANDYGEE »

Due to illness and so I've been told no cure "you just have to live with the condition" I sold my bike last night to help pay my mortgage when I'm incapable of working.
I will say and I don't care how soppy it sounds I was choked, my hands were shaking so much I had trouble filling the V5 and signing reciept and I've had the right hump ever since.
I am writing this post to thank you all for your advice , comments and the general warmth you showed me, It was the fisrt time I had modified a bike and if it wasn't for this forum I wouldnt have had the courage to do it.
You all are a credit to the internet it's a great forum.
I wish I could have met some of you on a Ride out or something.
Please keep up the good work, you really do help people more than you probably realise.
I have given the new owner the forum address so hopefully you can help him as you have me.

So with that said and a tear in my eye THANK YOU ALL and be safe.
For those about to rock I Salute you !

+ 1 what carl said. I don't think you have to have a vtr to log in from time to time if it cheers you up .

good luck for the future.

My thoughts as well. There's more than just support for bikes on this forum, so keep in touch when you need a laugh

That's harsh mate, I hope all turns out well, doctors can be just as fallible as the rest of us.

Take care, good luck and keep an eye on the forum mate, you may be able to help others with the knowledge you've amassed as a Firestorm owner

Don't feel you can't still come on here is you wish, providing you still can of course.
