fuel - miles - tank

hi all

whats the max and min you have managed to get out of your full tank ? tootling or giving it some i managed to get 70 miles untill the light come on, is that good or bad?

It's good fun but bad for your pocket. :lol:

I've done less than that and I have done more than that. It's all down to how you ride and whether that's town riding or open roads.

70miles on a track day, 115 is the best and 105 is normal

I did 400 miles once to one tank of fuel
But that was a two gallon tank on a t80 !

Since when were you a soviet tank driver? And how are tank engines so economical? :lol:

I think mine got around 120-130 before my fuel gauge went to the red on its' last long run. That was all motorway as well :lol:

Sadly the tank range on a VTR1000 is its bane, it drove me nuts on both my VTRs I used to get between 70-80, my friend gets around 90, My Honda Hornet gets around 90 miles to a tank.

Do you mean TY80? I built one of those from boxes but my mate wrote it off!! :( :lol:
