sub frame disassembly !!!!!!

Post by 4bangthis996 »

alright im about to take my subframe off to paint it black. When i unbolt the shock what should i brace it up with. It seemd like the swing arm would go up if i did not brace it from beneath. also how hard is it to rebolt the shock to the subframe,is there going to be alot of tension trying to get it to set far enough up so i can trhead the bolt on it.

thanks

second what other make and model sub frames can be fitted to the storm. will just about any as long as you can drill for the shock bolt and space it to fit on the front mounts? I am wondering because i want to know what tail sections would fit it. like ducati's and what not.

thanks guys

I would take another look mate because if your shock bolts to your subframe then you best check is says VTR1000 Firestorm or Superhawk on ya tank as you ain't got a VTR.
