Small breather pipe from fuel tank
The small breather pipe from my tank seems to come down from the tank, through the carb bodies to the right side of the bike and then to a T piece, where one tube goes to the bottom of the bike and the other just seems to sit open on the right hand side. Is this correct or why should there be a T-piece?

Not sure what is going on there. Previous owner may have thought that was the vacuum pipe fitting a tee in it to facilitate carb balancing & never bothered removing it.

Small breather as in one of the two under the middle of the tank, or small pipe as in the one that goes back to the very rear of the tank and connects to the side of the petcock?
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

In that case just replace it with a single line running down past the carbs on the LH side to exit to the left of the oil filter.
I've seen these with a tee piece before, but have never known why.
