i no its a bit silly buying a sports bike if ya cant get ya legs up and on the pegs lol :D but i was wondering if anyone had lowered theirs as im 6ft 4 and ive have 2 knee ops and even tho i can bend them fully it still feels rather tight on the old knees... so does anyone have any advice on what to do cheers in advance guys :thumbup: :D

Yeti manages to ride on race pegs 8O The trick is to point knees outwards like a praying mantis. :P

There are footpeg lowering devices on the market. Also some Buell pegs fit. Sorry can't remember which ones but there is info on the Suerhawk site regarding them.

You could also consider packing out your seat, to give you more room :thumbup:

top lads ... dont get me i dont mind pointing them outwards lol makes it easier to put them down on round abouts ... love getting me knee down ... and milton keynes is full of corners and round abouts lol ....but i just want to make it a bit more comfortable for big rides in the summer lol

go for the seat or a new matress,both will help summer riding in comfort :thumbup:

But they are Italian so you have to pay for looks :lol:

On a serious note you may find aftermarkert rearsets to be higher than standard as they are usually designed for racing. AMQ will clarify as he has gills.

pricey agreed .... but there the only half decent set ive found so far bud .... i was also told this by my friend but drop outs in them sit lower than my pegs on the lowest setting only by an inch which should be more than enough ............ i dunno im going to have a play around with the original sets tomorrow to see if i can make up a baking plate mount on the lathe .... we shall see :D

Should give you a bit more room. Not tried them myself being youthfull, athletic and hung like a donkey!!!! :lol:
