Normal Temperature?

I took the bike out for it's first run since fitting manual CCTs. Only the second time I have ridden it. Did about 30 miles and noticed Temp Gauge barely moved off 'cold'. Is this normal?

Kind of depends on the ambient temps but yes this is a normal thing on a cool\cold day :thumbup:
Loud pipes don't save lives, knowing how to ride your bike will save your life.

My hornets the same, when I get to work its barely above cold, the Honda X11 is a hot runner, I actually thought there was something wrong with the bike till I asked in the owners group.

The temp gauge on my vtr with one rad and no oil cooler only read about a third of the way on a ride last weekend. It wasnt that cool out either. I have vented leathers and had no probs with chills...not bad for March. Flippin' cold today though :roll:
My old 600 srad ran real hot most of the time, but the fan didnt cut in until 103 degrees c.
