R1/R6 R/R For sale. SOLD!

Post by MacV2 »

R1/R6 Reg/rec for sale, was on 'Ole Red for about 4 years, fitted using spade connectors crimped on to loom.

Never had an issue with it & when taken off the loom showed no signs of burning so all good there.

If you want it but don't want to cut your loom, apparently the standard connectors can be teased out of the block.

Fits on only using one bolt but make sure the frame is clean for a good earth.

Its a SH... NOT a Mosfet one !

5 pin 3 bottom ones are the Yellow wire connectors... Top right is live IIRC you should check before wiring up though...

£20 posted to you Sir ...

I've had one of these on mine for some years now, no probs at all.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Hey hey... looking at the socket on the R/R wires - red top left, green top right.... 3 yellow on bottom row. Do the yellow wires have to go on a certain way? If it's straight forward to fit and still available then i'll have from you.

No, no particular way round, the yellows go to any "yellow" pin.
Just be careful that you are identifying red or green by looking into the correct part, plug socket on RR or plug fitted to the coil.

I have the same R/R fitted to my bike.. after another to fit to a bike i'm fixing up to sell. Had a quick look at mine, can see where the red and green go but just wasn't sure on the yellows. I can now just copy wiring on my bike, simples :-)

If it's still available ofc.

Thanks Tony

+ 1 on the Yellows gong in any order. They just come from the 3 coils of stator windings.
