After a bit of info.
What is the point of the coolant lines that connect to the carb bases as they look as if they just loop through the connecting pipe & out again. Are they there not for cooling but preventing the carbs from freezing??

I removed mine within a week of getting the storm and it's fine however I don't ride below 10'c .
For what I've read they are heated to help fuel atomisation and to prevent carb icing in sub zero temps .

Re: After a bit of info.
They also help to atomise the fuel.

If atomising the fuel was a benefit you could lag them carb heater pipes with asbestos tape for extra performance.
Ripped mine off, saved the weight of the pipes PLUS the weight of the coolant in them- Result!

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
