Hmm, not sure...

Stickered up the Hound today. Not sure about it. The wings look slightly too big, and the Firestorm writing is a slightly paler red (camera makes it look worse). Wondering now if it's not too much:

Put a yellow fluorescent headlight cover on it to distract the eye.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

it doesn't do it for me mav, either stump up for the original red decals from Honda or maybe just the wing decal on the tank, and the size and position looks a bit off. it's your bike and your shout fella...

Yeah, thanks Marty, it doesn't look right to me either. Cheers all, thanks Chric for the reference shot

+1 on what AP said. Don't forget that those reference shots of Chric's and AP's bike have got 19l tanks so the Honda wing placement will be slightly different on yours Mav. You will find that not only do original decals have a slight gradient to them but they also have an outer colour (stroke) the same as your bike so they blend in better.

Personally I think the wing is a tad too big so if it was me I wouldn't go with it but thats just me. Iv'e seen plenty of bikes including storms with terrible copy decals on them. I certainly wouldn't say yours were awful, just not to my preference. From what I know if you want the original look especially with the 'firestorm' decal you have to go for original.. As Carl said the originals blend in with the bikes colour... the top half or so of the decal is partly transparent allowing the bikes colour to show... it gives a blending in effect along the top of the decal.

I just bought a couple tanks decals for a bike (below) not original so just a solid colour but I don't think they look bad at all....

Ah, that might explain the wing thing Carl, the difference tank sizes.

So, best way to remove them? Hairdryer and a plastic scraper?

Hairdryer or hot water and a finger nail.
