I would recommend scottyhatchi in South Shields - but I won't….

Stripped the bike down I'm just really anal about making sure it's done right I don't want to wear the chain or have rattles was thinking if someone has done a few they would have a better idea... Or is the walk through pretty much ideal. I don't like taking the bike to a garage as I think they throw them back together..

Showing your age there calling them rocker covers  Yes cam cover gaskets  are rubber so therefore re-usable unless broken or severely perished. If your lucky they will either stick to the groove around the inside of the cam cover or stick on the head when you lift the covers off, if not you may want to apply a little gasket sealant around them to hold them in place when putting the covers back on.

If they are not seated in the groove properly you may end up with an oil leak, so pay particular care to re-seating the gaskets and covers, especially the front cylinder at the front and rear as it hangs down and the gasket can slide out when tightening the covers. Also pay particular attention around the U shape where the plug goes and the D shape bits at either end. When putting the covers back on DO NOT over-tighten the 10mm bolts otherwise you risk snapping them in the stem.
