Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and new to the bike, got a good deal on it as it needs work so currently undergoing a cylinder head transplant, i did manage to have a ride on it before stripping and im officially in love and have been hooked into the world of V twin, i miss the noise of an inline 4 but the torque is amazing on a twin, cracking bike with a great following of great people,
Hoping to mint the bike and be enjoying it for a while

Also will be doing a few mods and upgrades to see what more I can squeeze out, I'll keep you guys posted on the progress

I'll also pop some pics up of the bike and the current mods, cheers

MadMax.

Welcome to the forum
I'm guessing you have had a CCT failure then? Have a read through the Read Me for New Members in my signature you will find info on CCT's in there amongst other useful info.
i miss the noise of an inline 4
You need new cans as well then.

Cct failed on previous owner, weakened the exhaust cam which eventually broke and smashed all 4 valves, I'm doing the work myself and managed to source a new head for it which I will be porting/polishing and adding new springs etc and putting it on.
Hopefully it will all go well

That sounds interesting, it would be good to see some pics of the progress. Have you got a flowbench? or taking a calculated gamble. Don't polish the inlets.
