god dam indicators

as above. its mot time this week so nows the time the indicators play up. i hate electrics i should point out... they seem to take ages to start flashing after i hit the switch but then when they do start. its as if theres a blub out, as in they flash to fast... cant see any problems anywhere . are the flasher units the same in all years of vtr as i think il try changing that. (mines 97)..

oh ,and the right hand side is a lot faster than the left? weirdly

Have you tried cleaning all the connections in the circuits? and yes the relay is standard for all models and most Hondas of that period.

yeah, mine are a bit on and off as well.

il go over them all again just to make sure. id say the r/h side are flashing near twice as fast

Clean the contacts on the bulbs, and where the wires connect. Ensure bulbs are the correct type, swap bulbs round to other side see if problem moves with em - replace if necessary. Do that and if no joy then think about a new flasher relay.
