broke or not??

hi i am new to v twins and my vtr. i love it but when low in the gears when the bike is struggling to accelerate(under 4) it has a very strange rattle like valves. but above it hums nicely. its completly standard apart fromt he screen and cct which are krieger ones. is this sound normal or do i need to fix it lol

that's answers half of my reply to your "hello" post I don't know about the other noise. they are a bit lumpy till you get them above 4 K. someone will be along to tell you :thumbup:

At a guess I'd say you're in too higher gear, as lumpyv says they are a little lumpy low down :thumbup:

where are you in the country?

may sound silly but check your L/H link pipe and see if the chain is hitting it. these big old Vs dont like high gears and low revs
the older i get,the faster i was :lol:
