G'Day

Post by pete c »

Hi all, thought it was about time that i should join up.
I have a 02 Storm that my wife bought me as a Christmas present way back then(brand new)
Its now done 36000 k's and time to give it a make over.
This forum and its posters have been such a wonderful resource, for assistance and guidance, and i would like to thank all who have posted
and photographed their efforts(making my life so much easier)
So THANK YOU !!!!!
The bike is all in bits and work has commenced
Also like to thank " adewhitmarsh" for the donation of the cct's, to the Craig Andrew donation fund, and am proud to have both the cct's and Craig Andrew stickers on my bike
(cheers mate)
So i'll keep reading and learning, and probably asking stupid questions, and maybe also posting some stuff.
Cheers guys and girls
Pete

Hi, thanks for the kind welcome
You're right , it is a great forum, and looks like a great bunch to get on the grog and ride with :D
Just fitted up my mcct's this morning, easy as, but also helps that i've got most of the bike in bits
Next on the agenda is to fully remove the pairs system (its just deactivated at the moment)
Then redo the forks, put on stick coils, change the reg/rec, even though its the later finned one
Maybe paint the wheels (gold possibly) upgrade the front calipers, put the standard debaffled cans back on
(the carbon ones are rooted...way to loud even with baffles in and look like shite)
Sick of getting pulled over for noise
Convert to single seat (much cheaper rego here in Qld, and the wife prefers to pillion on the bmw anyway)
Put on the holden commodore indicators that i've had for 2 years
Get some mirror extensions , coz i,m sick of looking at my elbows!!!!!
And lots more stuff that i'm sure i'll find i just "have" to do
Well seeing its still raining, and wombles cold (16c) the garage is the place for me...
Cheers
Pete
