K-Tech fork springs to suit Blade usd forks STILL FOR SALE
9kg weight, (AMENDED INFO, I HAD THE WEIGHT WRONG IN MY FIRST POST SO PLEASE LOOK AT THE INFO POST BELOW:-) a little up on standard blade springs but ideal to cope with the extra front end bias of a Storm.
Great on track but a bit harsh for my bike which has been lightened a fair bit.
They have been in for six months, perfect condition of course.
They fit 929 and 954 forks.
No, they won't fit standard Firestorm forks....
They do fit some Kawasaki forks, though. To check, have a look at the K-Tech website.
£50 plus P+P, or collect from Sevenoaks
Lovely bling, shame you can't see them.
I may also have a spare pair of Blade usd forks available, ask for details. No yokes though.

Re: K-Tech fork springs to suit Blade usd forks £50 Kent/Lon
What's the riders weight for them tony ?
Re: K-Tech fork springs to suit Blade usd forks £50 Kent/Lon
I'm 13.5 stone, so they will either suit a bit heavier rider or a bit heavier (than mine, so standard-ish weight) bike.
I found that an air gap of 115mm was right.
If I was using it as a track bike they'd still be in it, but potholes and cats eyes make the commute a chore at my weight and the bike's weight.

20 STONE !!!
kin hell fella !!
You need to up rate the front springs !
Personally I think these are no good for you
as you will never get them to perform correctly
for your weight ? .
I don't have any for sale ( just in case someone
asks ) but I think you should think before buying
these , I know the price is right but that's about all .

Re: K-Tech fork springs to suit Blade usd forks £50 Kent/Lon
In full leathers /body armer I'm just over 19stone .
In my road textiles I'm 17stone
In the buff I'm 16 stone .
I phoned K tech up earlier and asked them for the road what weight springs will I want for a 17stone rider and they said 10kg for the road and if I wanted to track it I will need heavier springs .
As these springs will be for the road bike they should be fine .
The springs I have in the forks don't like the bumpy road very much but are great on the track .
As I have two sets of 929 forks one for kermit (road) and one for piggy(track)
And after talking to k tech on kevs recommendation I'll have both bikes set up for there uses :-) .
So don't panic yeti :-)
