wheel bearings recommend??
just put my firestorm in "dry dock" wheels off, bearings removed tires off,wheels away to my mate for powder coating(gold to go with black and yellow stickers etc) there is a Honda dealer near me asking 20 quid a pair of bearings?or online you can get them for 5 quid upwards?all im after is good quality/long lasting etc i know its a lottery if a bearing collapses but there must be a highly recommended company etc,im putting new tyres aswell reccomends any one?? for sports/touring

I Got NTN bearings from David Silver not cheap I think it was about £50 for the rear bearings and seals inc the sprocket carrier

thanks for the advice,i fell for the honda dealers patter and bought a full set of Koyo bearings??

Someone spent £50 on three bearings??!! Its a bearing ffs!! Take the size a go buy a sheilded bearing from a bearing supplier for £3 a pop and enjot the next 20k miles of smooth rolling wheels

Click the links & you'll see the sizes for each bearing...the part numbers are the Honda Part numbers but as said take the sizes to a local bearing factors & they will be able to get them for you or even have them off the shelf...Dont forget you will need the seals as well.

rear wheel brg - 6204 2 off
Front wheel Brg - 6004 2 off
get them both with rubber seals each side rather than metal shields for better sealing
sprocket carrier ... I cant find a standard with 17mm width, will look later
