have an issue with my clucth
Hi there iv just bought a vtr firestorm and only just noticed wen I pull of from stand still at high revs anything over 4 thousand .she makes a grinding stroke whining noise and than the clutch lever jumps only for a second I'm not to sure if its push rod springs or plates any advice would b much appreciated. its my first v twin always had inline so new to the v twin engine
Re: have an issue with my clucth
Its a thing with VTRs, just dont pull away with that many revs. Dont need to with a big twin.
Rodger Ditchfield came up with a fix for it but its a lot of faffing about.

No props, it gives you some direction. If you do a search on clutch grab, there's quite a bit of info already out there.
