tbh all the hard works been done, i'd consider it an option, find a set of farings and tank and make it look standardish again, much harder to take a standard bike and fit a sssa, than the other way round.

Still a VTR frame just a grafted on Viffer SSS. Just badly described. Could be salvagable into a fun summer toy with some time & TLC and the vinyl decals stripping off esp on the tail.
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

if you can live with the black metal work, you'd need the following to return the bodywork to standard...
full fairing and tank
screen
headlight
front subframe
clocks
possible wiring loom
rear subframe
undertray
seat
rear fairing
rear light
mirrors
indicators
i'd also sort out the drilled rear set chain guards.....yuck.
can't think of anything else.
you can always sell the tank and bodywork to another streetfighter wannabee.
so it's a far bit of work, but you'd be left with a very special bike. and sorting all the issues to convert a standard storm into a sssa bike is hard work, rear header need sorting, drilling the frame to move the rear shock, custom made rear shock linkages, rear brake lines, not to mention finding all the sssa parts.

I've told him to get a tuono a falco or a storm. he can't see the sssa when he is on it anyway.

how deep are your friends pockets..........http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-VTR-FIR ... 1801718713
I very special storm indeed, maybe a tad over priced, but it's got ohlins, harris rearsets, sssa, high level exhausts, fairing lowers, plus most of the parts to return it to standard if required.
low mileage as well.....

WoW thanks Marty, i would have that. Needs white wheels and a set of rentals though. My mates heard of someone who would do the SSSA mod for him for £500, and he would supply the bits. If aim honest i would get mine done for £500 if i could. The nob bought an R1 today. Its lovely though 2001 with FSH, mint and £1850. He will only fall off it though.
