Hi to everyone.

Post by WezC »

Hello peeps :Beer2:

I have just picked up a 2003 Blue Firestorm which has been unridden in a garage since 2004. Genuine 5000 miles from new :D and it almost looks new too..

Had many bikes in the past including a Firestorm before, so I knew it was a great find. Not ridden any bikes for five years though.

I have ordered a set of Oval Scorpion cans and a complete top yoke conversion kit and look forward to adding some pictures when it is complete.

I will add some pictures if I can work that out.

Welcome, sounds like a great find, but I would be changing the tyres after it has sat so long, they will be hard and slippy

Hi and welcome . As amcq said new tyres and a good inspection is needed if it's sat for that long

The brake fluid is brown/red, so that will be done when the new bars go on with a set of new lines (mine of course), and the clutch at the same time.

Probably needs an oil and filter change just to be on the safe side, anyone got any preferences on oil type ?

Your rectifier should be ok, as it's the later model with fins built in. Do check out the CCT issue though, especially with the bike having been stored for some time.

Sure I can give a 15% discount if direct through this site only.

I don't discount anywhere else, but as I am now a Firestorm owner again
