Longer sidestand?
Longer sidestand?
Hi
Is there a bolt on alternative to the standard side stand?
I find mine a little too short and the bike leans over a lot.
Normally this wouldn't be a problem.... but as I have to garage the bike in a very narrow space I have to be very careful when getting off.
I already have a piece of wood on the floor to put under the stand but its still a little awkward.

Re: Longer sidestand?
Is it possible to fit the stand without the extra sticky outy bit and is it still usable?

Re: Longer sidestand?
I have one fitted without the mod and can use it fine with my size 14 feet. I will agree that it could be easier to use if it was modified, but for me I'm happy to leave it standard as it gives me no hassle. I'm not sure if having standard exhaust link pipes would cause it to be harder to use though as I have a pair of Quills fitted.macca__macca wrote:Is it possible to fit the stand without the extra sticky outy bit and is it still usable?
