A good friend is selling his rsvr and I thought I'd pop his add on here just in case one of you would be interested,
Anyhow here's his add .


Looking at selling my steed to a good home for the right price.

21k miles, well looked after and tastefully modded.

If it doesn't sell as is I will be putting it back to standard first.

Looking for £3700 as is.

Mods are as follows.

- moto bat
- earth mod and brown connector mod
- uprated solenoid
- powder coated gold rocker covers
- m7rr tyres (10 miles from new)
- fr200 chip
- evo air box
- fancy seat cover

- 65mm big bore titanium akrapovic exhaust
- carbon coil covers
- carbon chain guards
- super sprox rear sprocket chain with 500 ish miles and front sprocket similar
- carbon rear seat cowl
-carbon rear light surround (complete)
- carbon plate holder
- small carbon swing arm covers
- standard rear seat cowl
- pilion seat
- oberon slave upgrade
- spazzo levers (work well and look trick) standard supplied
- oberon alloy res covers all round
- Teflon washers to rear shock linkage
- crash bungs

Bike has been well looked after and over serviced if anything. I have done most of the work myself. Lots of receipts etc.

It has no sign of ever being down the road. Previous owner removed top decals as they were fading and he preferred it this way.. t.b.h so do I.

Reluctant sale but just not riding it.. only did 500 miles this year and I'm getting more into green lane riding plus can't afford points on my license amongst other reasons..

I won't be leaving the forum though as it's full of a proper decent bunch as we all know.

If it doesn't sell for the asking price I'll be selling the mods separately and putting it back to standard. For a quick sale I'll include an abba stand with front lift for an extra £50.

That is a seriously nice RSV

Alot sporter riding position than a storm. Handling takes a bit of getting used to. It kind of drops into corners.

does look a tidy thing, mines still all covered in crap from the weekend,
And while I'm very happy with mine I'm still not totally comfortable with it, I need to ride it more !!!
Anyone thinking of getting one should definitely try to get an extended test ride before taking the plunge, they are quite a bit different to the Storm, more focused but less forgiving. They don't like to be half ridden if you see what I mean, the Storm will potter quite happily if your not in the mood for a trash but the RSVR never seems comfortable doing this, where as a stock Storm starts to show it's limitations when you start to press on the Mille starts to work much better, that said uprating the fork springs and sticking a shim in the rear shock improves a Storms abilities at higher speed but at the expense of some of it's easy going low speed ability. I suppose it's horses for courses stiffening up a chassis will always rob it of low speed comfort and vice versa, the thing with the Mille is in standard form it as lots of potential, Honda built the VTR with one eye on the bottom line, budget cycle parts abound, Aprilia on the other hand fitted top quality parts from the start particularly the R version with its Ohlins, OZ wheels, Gold line Brembos etc, it's said they barely broke even with the R due to the cost of all the trick bits.
One of the things that really impresses me with my Mille are the brakes, they are in a different ;eague to the weak VTR offerings, (well the fronts are anyway the rears less so).
And while I'm enjoying Aprilia ownership I must admit to missing my Storm and am seriously considering buying another, probably some cheap and nasty thing I can fettle over the winter, it would be nice to get back on the Storm although I'll still be keeping the Mille, I guess I'm just greedy
