Is the stud that's used to connect the earth lead on the starter motor removable?

Apparently but you have to strip the starter down to replace it...

Marty does refurbed ones not sure he has any in stock tho...Cant be hard to do if he can do it... :lol: :lol:

hi mate, mac is right you do have to strip the starter down, also I've yet to find a supplier of those bolts, although it would be possible to cut down the head of a normal bolt to make it fit, a lot of work just to replace a bolt, you can also come up against stubborn bolts and broken internals, if you d decide to repair it, there's a how to guide in the workshop section.. as mac said I do supply refurbed starters, I have one in stock at the moment.
