spark plug help!!!
spark plug help!!!
Help please... just gone and brought some iridium ngk plugs.went to fit them but neither spark plug spanner seems to fit! Is there a specific plug spanner? Or am I just being stupid!!! Cheers
Re: spark plug help!!!
The plug spanner in the tool kit works fine, but I'm guessing you haven't got that.
You need a long thin box spanner. In spark plug terminology IIRC it's classified as a 12mm spark plug spanner, but in normal socket set terms it's actually 18mm. Your best bet would be to get yourself off to Halfords taking one of the new plugs with you. Remember though, a standard long socket will not be thin enough to use on the Storm even if it does fit the plug,
Chris.

Look on ebay for Firestorm Plug Socket > http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SPARK-PLUG-RE ... xy2CZTXllE
or pick up a Firestorm toolkit which comes with one > http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-VTR1000 ... Sw14xWJ7N1
