A quick sound check with my phone app has it at 97db on a small blip of the throttle.

The prob with Storms is the pulses of the throbing V twin wreak the packing quite quickly...Normaly the left hand one gets it worse...

I have RS3's on one of mine & I dont think they are that loud TBH...My Harris's on the other one are much louder but them they are NFRU where as the Yoshis are road not Race pipes...

My Harris is louder still but only after cabbage...before anyone 'fixes' it for me...
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...

iirc the correct way to sound test, is to hold a db meter, in this case your phone. 1m behind and 1m to the side of your bike and then hold the revs at either 4 or 5k, that's what they do at race tracks, not sure if mic's on smart phones go up high enough tho. carl bought a cheap db meter from maplins about 5 years ago, we went and tested our bikes in the car park of the excel centre, security were very curious, but also ok with it.
each exhaust is different, my akra system is quiet up to about 5k, but then gets loud, which is good for everyday riding, where as my old two brother system was a lot louder through out the rev range.
and finally the big bore ti race system I had years ago (which al now owns, is fecking loud, ear bleedingly loud)

mines good up to about 6000 at 10,000 its sounds awesome, loud etc, the burble when you close the throttle is music. I miss the storm sound through the streets though.
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!

I was sound tested at Snetty @ 103db (Hot) - 4k rpm. That's with freshly repacked ART carbon cans with home made removable baffles.

Since repacking the carbon cans, they sound more "raspy machine gun" than deep and boomy. Maybe I packed the wadding too tight? I used a hell of a lot... 8O
