Where to buy Cam Chain Tensioners ATM

Post by Samuelle22 »

(I'm new here, so forgive me if this has been done to death, but I got no good search results)

From what I've gathered in the last few days, you have your Kreiger and Ape tensionsers for very roughly around £100 a pair, then you have the Chinese anodised ones on ebay for £45 -£60, and then there are people who come and go on the forums making batches now and then? Could anyone recommend the best place to buy tensioners at the moment?

Where did you get that they were £100 a pair?

As you say m8ty.. plenty on the Evil Bay.. now there was a guy with engineering prowess
making these recently and they looked a decent job to me ... but I cannot find him after all its only and engineered bolt
with metal support , gasket and quality thread lock... You can wait an age for some of these guys on here to
respond...self I did a kreiger and theywell ... TBH were good ... the parcel luckily was delivered quickly from USA..
check USA equivalent of our forum there might be someone doing them cheaper .. and well recommended ...

good luck

After my journey through British, Italian, German, French and Japanese cars, bikes and domestic boilers over the decades, I have boxes full of odd sized spanners (but never the right fking one!)
