WANTED - Late model clip-on handlebars
Hi all, as per title. My left wrist crunches when I move it, so as I'm using my bike every day, I'm looking for some more comfort.
Anyone got a set of late model (F2 - 2001 - onwards) clipon handlebars?
I have had my bars powdercoated satin black, good condition if interested in a swap.

Sorry to hijack, my opinion is that 41mm tomaselli (better one) or paolo tarrozzi adjusable bars are much much better. You will get wider position and fully adjustable angles, with increased comfort and control too.
I have paolo tarozzi on my blade forks, definitely worth the price.

Re: WANTED - Late model clip-on handlebars
love the sales pitch...''if you can't get comfortable with these fitted you must be built like Quasimodo's little brother.''
Or in Jamies case Quasimodo's ugly little brother...
Oh + 1 on the F2 bars they do make a big difference over the F bars, no cutting of farings all the switches & cables/pipes fit without any faffing about.
As I'm using a F at the mo on a 36 mile daily commute & have a very wonky wrist it is noticable to riding me F2 in the comfort stakes...Good luck in findinga pair Jamie...

Thanks for the info there Stephan, they sure do look great and plenty of scope for personalisation with regards to the positioning. A little over my budget unfortunately!Stephan wrote:Sorry to hijack, my opinion is that 41mm tomaselli (better one) or paolo tarrozzi adjusable bars are much much better. Thanks for the feedback Mr Mac. I was hoping the difference between the two would be noticeable. Just need to find some...

Silver -97-2000 ,black 2000-2006
Re: WANTED - Late model clip-on handlebars
Apart from the colour difference as Lloydie points out, the later bars are approximately 3/4" (19mm) higher at the bar end weight compered to the earlier bars, I couldn't notice anything else different about them,KermitLeFrog wrote:How can you tell what year they are?
Chris.
Re: WANTED - Late model clip-on handlebars
Raised bars was on later model, F2 = 2002, F3 = 2003 etc.. Black bars = raised angle... Silver bars = lower
Easy to tell unless someone's painted the F2 bars silver like I have

VFR800 clip on bars work well too Jamie but you would need to paint them black
