Kevlar clutch plates, modified Ti parts and springs

Post by tony.mon »

I would have put the price and location in the title, but there's not enough space...Sevenoaks, Kent, £50 posted

I built a "slightly-quicker-than-standard" engine, and needed to uprate the clutch to take the extra power.
I no longer have that bike, so up for sale is:
Kevlar plates, including steels, as a matched pack;
Stronger springs
a set of Ti spring caps, made by Mark GLSR of this very forum.
The caps help to locate the springs better, and stops the flinging out in the spring well and touching the side of the well.

It won't, that is, WON'T slip!

It's not noticeably heavier that a std clutch, feels the same (some say Kevlar ones snatch but I've never had any problems at all).
Although used, they're not noticeably worn, and will last a good long while, even in a track day or abused bike.

If you're careful you can fit these without dropping the oil out, but you will need to drain the coolant. If it's in good condition, just stick it back in afterwards.

I could probably be persuaded to fit them for a fee, if you don;t feel confident, give me a pm or post in this thread and I'll PM you, if you can't yet PM.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
