Exhaust valve!!

Post by StormyRob »

Fairly urgent folks. Need an exhaust valve for my front. Can get one from a place down the road but obviously need two. Anyone within an hour or so of Sussex?!

Sorry. none left now.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Matter sorted but many thanks Tony.
Picked up a good condition rear head and used the exhaust valves in it.
Compression test stone cold now showing 152 on front and rear which I believe is reasonable.

That's within spec and the more important thing being that they're quite similar.
And you now have some spare inlet Valves.

Absolutely! Head cost me 70 so just going to sell it on. Not sure what it's worth as literally all that's missing are the exhaust valves.

Worth nothing without the exhaust valve, sorry.

No-one would need to replace a rear head unless the valves were also gone. And ex's always go, inlets only sometimes.
