Custom made Brake Hoses.
Custom made Brake Hoses.
I may need some longer front brake hoses when I get around to doing the flat bar handlebar conversion.
I see a couple of listings on-line for companies who offer this service, so I was wondering who you guys recommend or have used for this
Cheers,
Chris.

Re: Custom made Brake Hoses.
I've used these a few times, the guy is called Stuart, very knowledgeable and helpful, they do a build line which you can do yourself, you just give them your dimension and they supply everything needed

Get dry-breaks, you know you want to...
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
Re: Custom made Brake Hoses.
Thanks Guys for all your help, very much appreciated
Are stainless steel banjo bolts okay to use in the calipers and master cylinder, or should I stick with original steel type seeing as I can't use copper slip or anti-seize compound on those threads without the possibility of some of it ending up in the brake fluid
Cheers,
Chris.

You don't need full tensile strength for the banjos.
But avoid aluminium.....

Re: Custom made Brake Hoses.
I use Venhill, what I find good about them over other makes is you can swivel the banjo's to any position easily, handy when custom fitting.

Thanks Geoff for the info Pirtek are a bit far away from me to drop in, unless of course they could make them up while I wait. I'll check out my local bike shop and see what they have to say.geoff996 wrote:Pirtek are the people you can use, look for one local to you. Mac is your man when it comes to banjos and swivelling, according to the article in the Court Reports section of the Kentish Times*popkat wrote:I use Venhill, what I find good about them over other makes is you can swivel the banjo's to any position easily, handy when custom fitting.
