Howaya lads,
So the rear shock is on its way out according to my mechanic. There's a few oem shocks on ebay for less than €50 euro, but am I taking a chance that they might be as knackered as mine?
I'm not interested in the money for Ohlins or Macon. Even the USA ones are pretty steep. What else is out there and what's my options?
Might be interested if lads of here are selling something for resonable money.
Thanks!

Does anyone know if the standard Honda shock can be stripped for rebuild?

Re: Rear shock options
Some will say no !
I have a mate that worked at the local Yamaha dealer who did mine.
Cost me $250.00 Oz.
From memory he had a bit of trouble and it took a week for parts.
He also had to machine part of the body.
That was about 4 years ago and it still works fine.

Thanks for that, I've got a spare one that I could have rebuilt. I'll get looking into it with local suspension specialists.kenmoore wrote:Some will say no !
