Re: Logging in
Clean out your browsers cache (locally stored web paves) and delete the cookies associated with the VTR1000.org domain. After that you should be able to log in ok.alanfjones1411 wrote:Can't log in on my laptop but can log in on my mobile phone. Any ideas?

Done that but it still requires manually signing back in everytime even after checking 'remember me'.firestorm_al wrote:Clean out your browsers cache (locally stored web paves) and delete the cookies associated with the VTR1000.org domain. It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Re: Logging in
How do you navigate to the site each time?
I'm guessing that you are using a shortcut or a saved favorite kink that uses a plain http:// link. When you log in, the redirect will use https:// . It may not seem like a big difference but it is to your browser. The site should only create a cookie assosiated with the https:// link. Therefore, everytime you use the old shortcut or favorite that uses http:// it will be as if you are not logged in.
Edit your shortcut to use the https:// prefix.

Re: Logging in
There still is a problem for me. I get an email when there is a new reply. The links in these email differ. Some of them are now https links and these work fine. Some links are http and if I click on these I need to put my username and password in every time.
I'm not sure why some automated emails produce https links and some produce http.

Re: Logging in
Admin - why not add a catch all redirect of http to https in the htaccess file? Or the Http redirect feature if the servers are IIS.
