Here is a cheap easy tool to adjust your carb screws without having to buy a expensive special screwdriver you will likley only use once...
This took me 45 min to make
You need:
18" speedo cable (it will turn just fine at extreme angles)
18" Brake line
A few tools.
Bend a tight 90deg at the end of brake line. Make the flat head tip with a 1" section of brake line and crimp it to the end of the speedo cable. (Use hack saw, file, pliers)
Feed the cable through the brake line..make some sort of handle to turn with... I used a bit of rubber hose.
This was quick and easy for me, as I already had everything on hand.
Hope this helps.

Welcome to the forum Chris

SO WHEN DOES THIS OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER KICK IN
Re: Easy carb fuel screw adjustment tool
I like it
Has anyone seen how much Honda charge for the specialised tool
I think they purposely made it awkward to get folk to purchase their tool.

Re: Easy carb fuel screw adjustment tool
I made one like that the other year
works well

Re: Easy carb fuel screw adjustment tool
I have an almost identical one which was made by the much-missed Benny Hedges.
They work just fine, but as the cable tightens one way and loosens the other it overcomes the "stiction" and flicks round, and sometimes goes too far. Best to undo more than you need and retighten each time.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
