Have to say i have a little "sweet spot" for the Mille. I know it's not a Honda, but hey, next best thing & you know the Prilly's history.

Personally i'd let the honda (sadly) go, & keep the Mille. That's what i've got planned once my wife passes her test (next month).

She wants the storm, i want a Mille. Job done, (eventually)

Just out of interest though, i havnt shopped for the insurance upgrade yet.... is there a big difference? (may be a deciding factor on this)

SUMMARY - keep Prilly..... (a lots of piccies of the Honda, for a memento)

Do it!! I'll be really jealous as I've wanted a Mille since they first appeared about 7 years ago. (not that I don't like the 'storm). I nearly bought a new one last month but didn't get the job I went for so didn't get the huge pay rise I expected. Also I was getting silly p/ex offers. Oh well, maybe next year!
.... no more bike, divorce sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still worth considering, no mega jump is it!!! (considering the difference)

I'm paying 350.00 comp on the storm, so could expect a jump to maybe 450 (ish)....

Now where is that darn cheque book......

The thing is, he know's he'll get stung if he trades in his mille, so he's after using my storm as a trade in
Wait till he sees the what the Firestorm will fetch as a trade in. I looked at a new Triumph Speed Triple last week, but I was only offered £3600 for my March 04 registered bike, 7500 miles :(

got a quote back of £412 fully comp......includes commuting, riding other bikes, carrying a pillion and 600 excess. Thought that was a pretty good quote, as the other have been over or around £100 more.[/url]
Not bad - i was with H&R last year, wasnt as good this year though...600 xs is a bit steep though, i've only got 200.00. That's why the quote is cheap though.

Squiffy.........see above, i'm in Essex, (you're Kent though), mines £350 comp...... (with 2 other bikes on the same policy)...(i'm 33, town location, license for 4 1/2yrs, 3 yrs ncb. - you're obviously paying too much)

yeah, that was after about 2 hours of different calls. I ended up playing bennetts and virgin off against each other, ringing them back with the "but they would give me this much discount...." lark.

It is also slightly higher as i pay for it monthly, im only ikcle and cant afford one off £800 payments!

Its garagaed over night, no alarm or locks, no mods :-)

Just woke up to this one, I pay £200 for the "storm" through Carole Nash, am 41 and have been riding (again) for 18 months.
Damn I feel old.
