Re: throttles
I'm using 1/4 turn one that I assume was off the RC45. I've also got an HRC 1/6th tube waiting to be fitted. I need longer cables first though.
Re: throttles
now that sounds the biz.... you still running two cables??

Re: throttles
iirc i'm running a 1/6th hrc tube, with both cables, I keep thinking about removing the return cable but I never have.
my throttle is nice and snappy, I don't think i'd benefit from a shorter throttle, as it would make it overly sensitive. just my opinion.

HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!
Re: throttles
An XM2 domino gives you three ratio discs to play with. But you also need the universal cable set.
It's next on the list for my sp.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
Re: throttles
Unless you don't have standard length throttle cables, the HRC 1/6th tube will fit, freeridenick wrote: ↑Sun Oct 08, 2017 6:17 pm I'm using 1/4 turn one that I assume was off the RC45. I've also got an HRC 1/6th tube waiting to be fitted. I need longer cables first though.

Re: throttles
I thought the standard cables were too short - right on the limit of adjustment.
Re: throttles
No, std ones fit ok if you take the slack out of the adjusters.
But check if you have higher bars fitted, that it doesn't pull on the cables on full fork extension.

Re: throttles
They're the main concern but throttle cables could also snag with high bars, depends in how high you go.
A streetfighter with wider and higher bars might need longer cables.
You wouldn't want it revving as you wheelied.....
I've never had an issue as I stick to clipons.
But I do know that a Domino XMS won't fit an SP2 on the std cables, no idea if it'll fit a storm though.

I think I can see where the confusion has come intony.mon wrote: ↑Sun Oct 08, 2017 10:45 pmThey're the main concern but throttle cables could also snag with high bars, depends in how high you go.

Re: throttles
As Tony says they will go but not a lot of adjustment left, but enough. That will be with standard bars (early or later ones) and standard throttle cables, freeridenick wrote: ↑Sun Oct 08, 2017 10:15 pm I thought the standard cables were too short - right on the limit of adjustment.

Re: throttles
You'll have to slacken the adjuster off fully at the carb end first of all to give the most slack possible, then fine adjust at the throttle end once the HRC tube is fitted,
