diy single seat

i'm about to tackle a single seat for the storm and i have a fibreglass base. any tips on foam, construction etc?

i made a GSXR k1 seat fit with mucho cutting, for the foam you can buy sheets of different density foam on ebay for cheap

thanks for the tips. trawling through buzzer's build got me onto something else - zinc plating kits. i'll read up on that later as i have three restos on the go and it would be great to do my own. regarding my seat, the single seat is grp and also supplied is a grp seat base that bolts on. however, stapling onto grp is not recommended so looking at different ideas. just ordered some black vinyl and looking at maybe high density base with a memory foam topping
