Speedo question

Hi, my Speedo has packed up, so looking for used one on eBay. My bike is a 99 model, Do you know if the later version will fit with the led panel? I wondered if I had enough of the right wires to make it work, thanks

Anything can be made to fit but it's a bit more complex than plug & play.

Later bikes had a diffrent loom to factor in the HISS, IIRC the fule sender is diffrent. I think it's been done by someone but IMO not worth the hassle.
Finding late clocks is rare & they tend to be big bucks if you can find them...

I would start with...

If the REg Rec has died the speedo drops out.

Or maybe the speedo sensor has failed. Bothe easy to fix rather than swapping clocks over...

Plus if you fork out for replacment clocks & the still dont work how pished off will you be as well as out of pocket ...
