Whoever at DVLA decided that the current owner has to update the system needs a spank. This is the 2nd time this has happened, despite me texting the current owner with my exact details, they have input my address double wrong, 70 instead of 17 and Street instead of Avenue (although I only know this from clues they gave me as "GDPR" .)
Luckily that address does not exist so it hasn't been posted to anyone, however it is a rigmaraole as I have to send in a form and pay 25 quid.
What is most annoying is that I have 9 vehicles registered here and a cursory glance at the address would show that its a huge error, plus I have paid tax and insured it, so a teeny bit of investigation by DVLA could correct this without too much running around.
Also, having the new keeper supplement appears not to help, I have been told they may decide I am lying anyway and not change the document. FFS
Malto annoyed.

This was fixed with no drama apart from the cost of a postal order- correct docs have arrived.
I have bought another (scrap) bike and the owner missed out my first name and only used my middle name, it's not the end of the world but this is getting boring...

At least it's now all sorted out

I am just peeved that the flaw in the system is that it is down to someone else, the previous keeper, to make sure your details get input correctly. In one case the previous keeper was clearly dense from the outset, in the other case its an easy mistake, but still.
This may related to my rampant control freakism.
