I pondered long and hard to try to identify everything that families need at Christmas, but it was only when I wandered into Currys that it became evident:

That's saved me a few bob, but I anticipate that the rest of the family might be a little jealous when they realise that they've spent a lot more on presents than me.

In my Doating age I really can't be arsed with all the fuss. Popped out today to do a post run & get some bits from a supermarket. Car park was chaos. On The Murvinator & slipped into a spot as a car was coming out... Much to the disgust of some bloke in a van who was hoping to swing in... He wasn't happy...hooting & waving at me... Fek him I was first...

As for the date well you cant change it since the christian church made it up that conveniently a baby was allegedly born on that date, which happened to be a Pagan Ritual... Probably Midwinter Solstice.

It's also claimed that the baby jesus was of Black heritage ( same as St Nick) which has been nicely air brushed out of history...

Yes I'm not religiously biased, so apologies to anyone who is... My view is it's all made up but I wont force my beliefs on you & expect the same back.

Lets see what natural disaster god can knock up for us this year... Afterall it's all gods work apparently...

Rant over...

Merry ChrisMcCausland to all, don't get blind drunk.

To all you naturists: Happy Nude Year.
To the home-made ale enthusiasts: Happy Brew Year.
Overweight, but don't care? Happy food/beer.
Northern Irish? Happy Newry Ear.
Watching Bambi again? Happy new deer.
Got yet another fleece this Xmas? Crappy hood idea.
Fracking this winter? Happy crude year.
Baby just arrived? Crappy nappy new year.
Bicycle punctured? Happy tube year.
Got tickets to a festival? Latitude year.
Couldn't be bothered to buy tickets? Lassitude year.
New dog eating the furniture? Puppy chewed year.
Think I'm not treating the anniversary of the baby Bel cheeses with the dignity it deserves? Happy prude year.

Finally, a Christmas teaser: Vegetarian option - Fish fingers with stuffing. Gravy or not?
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
