Saw a Firestorm update image on Facebook

Post by Duffy1964 »

This is a modern concept image of the Firestorm. What do you think?
Doubt it would ever happen though. Image

This Image has been doing the rounds for a while now.

It's a Kardesign job. Kardesign is the online portfolio of Kar Lee, specialising in realistic motorcycle concept rendering.

So It's totally made up & defiantly nowt to do with Honda.

He's been doing it for years, worked a lot with Performance Bikes magazine. Currently still to be seen in Classic Motorcycle Mechanics.
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...

Like Mac I have seen this picture before too.

To answer your question Duffy, I quite like the look, it makes the Firestorm look more up to date imho,

Chris.

If they reused the name it would be a parallel twin, like they’ve done with the Africa twin and Transalp.

-and do I spot a very ambitious HRC casting just ahead of the clutch?

Looking at the crankcases I'm not sure there's room for the rear cylinder, if a vee twin.
But combining that design with the boosted V3 might work.

(Zero chance of it being done, I would have thought).
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
