Queensland, Aussie? Neat! I visited Sydney and Melbourne back in the 1989 when I was a teenager with one of my buddies. It was a fun trip.VTRgirl wrote:Don't know about the UK, but he's one of my faves. Nope, thats about right. We dont really have dedicated stations to rock or jazz or anything like that (apart from classic fm), it's all mixed in together.Tony_tbone wrote:Hey that's cool to hear! I was in the UK back in '97 after I graduated and I remember trying to find a rock station in London and later in Glasgow and it seemed impossible. All I could find was techno and hip-hop like stuff. Maybe I was just missing the right channels.
Looking at going to The Island this year. If that falls through, it'll definitely be next year. Riding down, of course, as people do from all over the country. If you've got the cash handy, you could easily come over here, buy a storm (sorry, 'hawk'...), go to the GP & probably sell the storm again for the same price before heading home.Tony_tbone wrote:Queensland, Aussie? Hey are you going to Philip Island this year for the Australian MotoGP race? I would love to make it there some day for that.
