Oh yes, he's my favourite player. Kenny Wayne Sheppherd is nearly as good too.

Hey that's cool to hear! I was in the UK back in '97 after I graduated and I remember trying to find a rock station in London and later in Glasgow and it seemed impossible. All I could find was techno and hip-hop like stuff. Maybe I was just missing the right channels.
Anyway, I actually was lucky enough to see Stevie Ray live in San Antonio, TX back in 1990 the same year he died. He played for 4 hours straight. It was amazing.

Queensland, Aussie? Neat! I visited Sydney and Melbourne back in the 1989 when I was a teenager with one of my buddies. It was a fun trip.
Hey are you going to Philip Island this year for the Australian MotoGP race? I would love to make it there some day for that.

Nope, thats about right. We dont really have dedicated stations to rock or jazz or anything like that (apart from classic fm), it's all mixed in together.
You were in Glasgow and you didnt pop in to say hello? I'm hurt

Hey Cupasoop. I'm sorry I didn't pop into say hi!

Off course I didn't even have my Superhawk, er Firestorm back then... I think I had just got my first computer though, but I don't think this website existed yet. Haha!
In the States we have XM Radio and Sirius satelite radio systems. They cost about $100 for the gear and then $12 or so a month. I haven't decided to dish out the change for that kind of thing yet. Thankfully you can find at least one good rock station in just about every city in America...well most cities. Rock is dieing though. Hip-hop is taking over.
I guess there aren't many rockers over there if they don't play it much on the radio? Is that a correct assumption?

Looking at going to The Island this year. If that falls through, it'll definitely be next year. Riding down, of course, as people do from all over the country. If you've got the cash handy, you could easily come over here, buy a storm (sorry, 'hawk'...), go to the GP & probably sell the storm again for the same price before heading home.
